I wanted to experiment with the glass bead spinner that has the magnet already in it. I think I got it from PPU. (Photo in comments) Anyways, I decided to put it right over my previous manicure to save myself time and frustration because I am only experimenting at this point.

It seemed to work well and I think I'm going to use this method a lot to try out my magnetic polishes and all of my magnets. I think it's because I'm not dealing with a bunch of wet layers.

I'm not quite sure where the glass bead actually landed (I think it depends on the light angle) but it's a pretty cool effect. I attempted to put my nail in the same spot at the same angle for each nail. I can feel a tiny little dot in the magnetic spinner, and that helps with placement consistency.

1 coat Atomic bonding base coat to prevent staining

2 coats Clionadh – Patina Lite

1 coat Sally Hansen top coat in the red bottle… Magnetized about 20 seconds each nail.

3 days later:

1 thick coat Clionadh – Planetary Attraction

Spun the device 30 times for each nail and did one hand at a time.

This only took about 30 minutes.

I am pleased!
