I made a blue fine particle magnetic!

I had a conversation here awhile back about using highly pigmented jellies to make dinner magnetics look colorful, so I decided to make one myself.

Products: Glitter Unique suspension base, CraftSmart resin pigment ink from Michaels, lots of blue and a drop of purple, fine particle magnetic from Vettsy in Spring.

I just talked myself out of going down this rabbit hole. Been stalking GU and Vettsy then said “nah I will probably not make anything nice enough to wear”…and now you post this perfect BOF dupe.

Hey do me a favor just out of concern, please check the ingredients of your craft smart ink!! ❤️

Some of them are literal resin, as in they contain one of the two parts, of two part resin that does not cure unless you mix it with the other chemical. You don’t want to be wearing uncured resin same as you don’t want to be wearing uncured gel! Michael’s unfortunately shelves them all together, the alcohol ones and the resin containing ones.

I discovered this when it took me a while to figure out why some of my DIY jellies never dried on the swatch sticks. 😞 Thankfully I never wore any polishes made with resin.

Your polish is beautiful, I hope your inks are not the ones I had…
