I’m not buying makeup from someone whose makeup looks like this in their own ad

Hello Friends! (I would’ve wrote this in the caption, but my Reddit App doesn’t allow me to read what I’m typing if I’m making a caption😭)
What are the opinions we have on the first product Leaked Labs plans to test out and release?
Let me put aside my personal biased towards these creators (although, it’s the reason I won’t participate with purchasing from this brand.)
A flexible powder, I myself haven’t seen something like this. But the question is: is it necessary? Will it be innovative enough to make a difference between a normal powder and something flexible like this?
Do you feel like the flexible quality to this powder is a gimmick? Do you feel like it could actually improve the formula of a powder? Does this allow more pigmentation to come through or does it make it more sheer and buildable for shadows and glitters?

I was excited about the idea of “innovation first” but now I’m like “oh they meant GIMMICK” like maybe brands didn’t launch these for a REASON

I dont get how its first when we already have squishy formulas like mac glow play blush or those highlighters that everyone squeezes and it makes my soul leave the earth for a moment cause I dislike ruining products

I will not be buying as this is not my vibe in what I look for in makeup.
But the idea of the brand is interesting. Bringing sidelined/overlooked formulas to market. I think it will all be in the execution which I have a lot of questions about.
Regardless on how I feel about them as influencers, they have a substantial following that I think they will be able to make money for a few years.

I don’t know why I should be excited about a flexible powder lol. But maybe a flexible lip scrub?

Yea flexible powder seems more like a tiktok gimmick to get more views. What is the point even aside of demostrating it is flexible? Seems like germ city imo.

I genuinely don’t understand what the point is of turning pigment powders into a baked slab of deli is going to do for me as a customer? What is this consistency supposed to do for us in terms of color payoff and ease of usage? Because in all the videos they’ve shown the color payoff was ghastly, which is insane to think since shimmers usually show up way easier 😭
