Mega Lip Balm Review

Hi all, just wanted to share a bunch of lip balm reviews that I've tried over the years. Apologies if it isnt in the photo, I already used it lol.

Torriden Solid Ceramide Lip Essence

4/5 WRP! Not heavy on the lips and perfect for day time wear. Its pretty decent as a gloss too if you have a matte lipstick/lip tint. I can see why its popular in Korea. I was surprised my lips werent that dry when I tried it. No fragrance.

Bring Green Bamboo Hyaluronic Acid Lip Essence

5/5 WRP. Knocked Torriden off the park with HG status. Its a lot thicker and perfect for my chronically dry lips. I've tried so much lip balms and this one is really good. I use it as a night time lip mask and wake up with it on my lips. Its so cute too because it comes with a little mirror like the Torriden one. Less glossy than Torriden but can still be applied on top of lip balm/lip tint. No fragrance.

Torriden Cell Aging Lip Essence

3/5 WNRP. Eh, its okay. No that moisturizing or nourishing for my chapped lips. Its also less viscous and sticky for some reason. My hair sticks to it when it flies to my face which can be annoying. No fragrance.

Nuse Reju Lip Gloss

2/5 WNRP. It feels kinda gimmicky because of the PDRN capsule things that are supposed to "pop" when you apply it on your lips. It did not feel hydrating at all and it actually burned my lips after applying. Heavily fragranced and smells like chocolate.

Nuse Color Care Lip Balm

3/5 WNRP. This one was slightly better because it did not sting my lips. But its not that moisturizing either. Glides smoothly on the lips but I tend to prefer tube lip balms because the ones in a stick melt because of SEA heat. Also has fragrance that reminds me of Jo Malone perfume. I do not like tasting the fragrance in lip balms.

OMI Menturm Deepner Lip Balm

4/5 WRP. This one is decent too, I just found it in a japanese store and randomly tried. I like that it has SPF in it and it has no fragrance. However, it is a tube type that melts easily in the heat. I occasionally buy it if there is stock. No fragrance.

Papa Recipe Blemish Lip Serum

3/5 WNRP. Its…okay as a serum? Its supposed to exfoliate your lips but it actually stings and I cannot tolerate it. The application was decent though and no fragrance.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

1/5 WNRP. The worst offender, why is this popular…? Its just so thick and heavily fragranced it did nothing for my lips. Its supposed to be a lip sleeping mask but I woke up with my lips feeling dry instead. I mean I like smelling the strawberries but not on lip balms.

Rhoto Mentholatum Water Lip Tone Up '

2/5 WNRP. My lips did not like it because I have figured out I apparently have 0 tolerance against lip products with lanolin. Probably a me issue but it was decent and had SPF. Not that much fragrance.

A'PIEU Honey and Milk Lip Balm

2/5 WNRP. I wanted to like this because it felt nice on the lips but it really did not do anything aside from staying on my lips. Still felt drying after a while. A bit of fragrance but tolerable.
