  1. To my understanding, dazzle dry only works within its system and isn’t very compatible with other brands. Add on top of that, dazzle dry doesn’t have as wide variety of specialty finishes so that’s a pass. Plus plus, I have a good QDTC that makes my mani dry almost just as fast

  2. I wanted to love Dazzle Dry but it just doesn’t work for me. The polish cracks and chips in less than 24 hours even though I am following their instructions. They said to contact them if you have issues so I did and they were extremely rude and basically just said I had to be doing something wrong because there’s no way the product won’t work for everyone. The only advice they could give me was to aggressively buff my nails but I’m not interested in damaging them to make DD work when I get 14+ days with regular polish.

    DD is also really expensive.

  3. I think they are plenty popular- I have quite a few colors of them and the salon I visit uses them. However, as previous posters have said, the having to use the whole system and the lack of fun finishes may make them less desirable to many lacqueristas here. I agree with you though, it is a wonderful system and it absolutely lives up to the hype!

I LOVE the option of Dazzle Dry at a salon for when someone wants to get our nails done together. It wore just as long and beautiful for me as my at home manis. That said, I’m not going to purchase the whole system to use at home when I have plenty of polishes I can use with my existing base and top coat.
