The iconic "Memphis pattern" was a design aesthetic that defined the late 80's early 90's pop culture and design. Created in Milan by a furniture house, it was named after a lyric in a Bob Dylan song and its bright colors and geometric patterns and squiggles were used in so many shows and movies that it came to define the era. It's classic, it's iconic, it's retro and modern. I fucking love it. I also grew up in the 90's so I'm biased. Shut up, don't judge me. Look at the pattern, it's fun, see! 😝
