Got inspired by the butterfly mani posted yesterday with flight of the monarchs. Decided to try nail art for the first time to replicate it!

And oh my gosh, I’m obsessed. I used two coats of Mooncat’s Flight of the Monarchs over two coats of Getting Even primer. Holo taco one coat black and not milky white for the painting work, topped with sally hansen’s quick dry top coat (in the red bottle).

I’m too scared to replicate this with my non-dominant hand though, so only my left nails are butterflies. Loved the original poster’s choice to do two accent nails in the middle – seriously so elegant. This was my first time using my dotting tools and brushes, but I want to try more in the future 🤩

Also, I’ve been sleeping on flight of the monarchs. I’ve been using it on my toes because I normally dislike orange tones on me. I will from now on only wear this on my hands.
