It's basically my only nail that does it. My left middle nail (seen in pic 2, below/right of index finger) also does it but very very mildly, not really perceptible unless you look closely.
Anyone got any fixes? I take iron for anemia already, and vit d for general health. Or do I just embrace this as my spellcasting finger?
Why so scoopy droopy >:(

Both of my pointer fingers have curved nails and all the others are fine. When I’m growing them out, I file it underneath so it isn’t too curved over time but sometimes it means the nails will be or looks shorter on these fingers.
The only thing that helps me with this is growing them out in a square shape, the side walls help give some structure to the nails
I think I’ve seen it mentioned that this happens from how often we are typing and holding devices. My thumbnails are perpetually curved because of this, too.
omg finally… i thought it was just me!!! my thumb nails and both pointer fingers are curved inward. genuinely nothing has helped 😭 i can only file them to appear even 🥴
My right middle finger does this! The left one does too but not as much. I’ve found the best shape for mine is coffin-ish as filing in the one side and not the other makes it look a lot better. It’s not quite as extreme as yours but you can see my attempts to correct it here (the less crooked one, other one is worse)

I also have the scoopy indexes. They don’t do it as much if my nails are square, but then they break more often, so I just cope with the scoops.
Most of my nails do this, I have never been able to fix it 😭
I have this so I have to keep my nails square

I used to have this issue all the time until I saw someone else’s post about this and read the comments
I realized I was over filing my nails as they were growing out
The shape looked pretty and very photogenic until it started to curve
But I stopped filing so much until the nails were longer
Grew them out square
And now I’ve had the sturdiest nails I’ve ever had in my whole life
And I can shape the tips without them breaking or curving
you’re not alone! 6 of my 10 fingers curve downward. the longer they get, the more extreme they seem to curve down. i usually can’t stand the sight of it, so i file them short enough before they start curving down. it’s so frustrating having nails that grow straight next to ones that curve 😭 like i know what you’re capable of! you can always try filing the underside of the nail to combat it, that’s what i do!
I have the same curve, bending towards the same side too😅
