After 36 years, I've finally quit biting my nails. They surprisingly forgave me and grew out beautifully, so now I'm trying all the polishes I collected but never wore because I was ashamed of my nubby, bitten-down nails. And I'm also trying to care for my nails and cuticles on the regular. Anyway, here's my first attempt at an intentional manicure. Advice and tips welcome! (Like, how do I not get polish EVERYWHERE?!)

I always was hitting the skin at the bottom of my nail, but now I just kind of land the brush like 2/3 of the way to the bottom, and then push it slowly towards the bottom cuticle, letting it fan out a little with light pressure, to get the nice straight line on that edge. Those look pretty good though 👽
