How can I remove the dark skin around my nose and lips? Has anyone successfully done so?

That looks like free lip pencil to me. Seriously If you check the latest makeup trends this is what almost everyone does to their lips. It looks beautiful

I honestly zoomed in to try and see what was bothering you. Your skin is perfect! Slap some tinted lipgloss on and like the other person said, you’ve got natural lipliner and it you will look made up with minimal effort. Not a flaw in sight ❤️

Honestly we are our biggest critic, I don’t see any pigmented skin in those areas – if anything it just looks like a bit of shadowing from room lighting or camera quality.

I have the same on the lips, it’s genetics. Mine is even way more pronounced.

I never minded and still don’t care much but noticed that using lip balm with spf every day, all the time, made the dark area less dark. I only use spf lip balm in my backpack and regular lip balm at home. I just don’t want wrinkly or sun-damaged lips as I age and the “lightening” of the area is just a side effect of the spf.

  5. I have a similar feature. I’d say it’s a combo of genetics and sun. My outer lips get especially darker in the summer, but it also never fully goes away. Use spf (lots of JP brands will make spf lip balms), chemical exfoliation, and antioxidant/brightening ingredients like vitamin C for maintenance. For makeup, I would go with a lightweight concealer or BB cream and a nude lip pencil or lip base. Obviously this natural pigmentation so don’t fret about it!
