Just spent the last 5 minutes panic cleaning up the mess of making brownies and trying to come up with a witty way of convincing my husband that finding the peely in his brownie is the new form of a penny in a king cake.
Thankfully, found it on the counter, but dang lowkey still stressed about that.

My first time using press ons I lost one at work and spent an hour trying to convince myself to tell my coworker so he didn’t just find it and freak out. I finally told him and about two hours later he found it and dumped it on my desk 😭
Ha! Been there. Have thought about wearing gloves while cooking but if the cooking is just for me I do not care
Haha omg I’m glad you found it! As soon as I get a chip on my nails, or if I’m using a grater, I wear gloves to avoid feeding my husband nail polish
Last time I lost a bit of eggshell in a batch of brownies I warned the family before serving and told them king cake rules apply (you find it, you make the next one). Somehow the shell was never found…
Even the name of the polish is apt 😆
This happened to me after my last set of stretch and folds for a sourdough loaf 🥲 I did end up finding it in the dough and threw it out. So glad the brownies were still safe 🙏
