Here I am with my 4th ever post in r/Nails. As I always did, some of u girls really wanna know what I used so here's the list🤗 (As always all from Amazon or stores like Ulta – most under $10)

– Nail file and buffer: Makartt kit ($8-10) – soft and simple for filing into those fierce almond points without hurting your nails.

– Base coat: Beetles gel base ($5-7) – really like this gel, it's clear and tacky so the glitter sticks perfectly, plus it keeps your natural nails safe.

– Holographic glitter polish: Born Pretty holographic gel set (under $5-8 for a kit) – these have the rainbow shift magic; I layered a fine holo glitter over a clear base for that full-spectrum sparkle.

– Clear gel for building: Modelones builder gel ($6-8) – used this to shape the long almonds if your nails need extension help, super strong and easy.

– Top coat: Sally Hansen gel top coat ($5-8) – seals in the holo shine and makes them last 2+ weeks without fading or chipping.

– Thin brush: Winstonia nail art brushes ($5-7 set) – great for even glitter application if you want to blend or fix spots.

– Cuticle oil: Essie apricot oil ($8-10) – smells like candy and hydrates your cuticles for that fresh, glowy finish.

– UV lamp: SUNUV mini lamp ($15-20, if some might ask) – portable with timers, cures everything quick and is a must for gel newbies.

😛Beginner hacks: Apply glitter in thin layers (2-3 cures), use a fan brush for even sparkle, and if it's too chunky, mix with clear polish… no stress if it's not perfect first try!

(I’m a beginner too lmao😅)

They took me about 40 mins and held up through hand washing and typing. Really wanna become a nail artist so… if you have any constructive criticism or variations, I’m open to everything🫶🏼 What colors would you holo-ify? Or your secret for no-clump glitter? Tell me all!
