I'm not trying to be a hater but i need to know if other people think this is crazy or if it's just me. i usually like giovanna (glamgio_nyc) because she creates the makeup i'm interested in, graphic liner and more editorial stuff using indie brands, and she openly talks about being neurodivergent so can come across as a bit more authentic than the huge 1M+ influencers who have a more manufacturered image. however, her makeup is quite simple if you've ever worked with graphic liner and bold shapes. she mostly relies on line work rather than painting entire pictures on her eyes or anything. that in itself is completely fine!!! again that is also the makeup i enjoy and the makeup i do as well. so i can't even fathom offering advice for $40 when all i do is….dip my brush in liner and draw a line on my eyes? this just seems really ridiculous to me. and yes ik she isn't forcing anybody to buy it but i still think it's silly. i included a screenshot of her post about the tutorial, the google docs form with the price and some screenshots of her makeup from her IG profile.
