In my experience, blue staining is less persistent than orange staining. Most blue staining I’ve had fades after a few weeks vs orange staining which is just there until it grows out. But either way if you keep nail polish on your nails it’s moot because you won’t see the stains regardless.

Some of the cuticle removers, I think Orly in particular, can be used to remove stains. There is also a product called Gena Nail Brite which can help with stains. I still end up using other color polish to hide it though, using either opposites to negate it or lighter and similar if I don’t want to be obvious.

Maybe try soaking in peroxide? It won’t totally get rid of the stain, but it might help. I think it helped when I did that after I had staining on my cuticles.

Can we get a product breakdown on this (so we can avoid it at all costs)?

Wow! Did you use a base coat? What shade did it?
Try glycolic acid from the ordinary.
YMMV etc etc
Put nail polish on so you don’t have to see it

How do you know it wasn’t the polish itself?
