I recently got my nails done with an independent nail tech, it was my first time getting acrylics and I’m not sure if this is how they’re supposed to look. I asked for a medium almond set! I’ve seen the almond shape look different on other people so maybe it’s my nail beds? I’d love to get some opinions, thank you!!

Absolutely not.
God no. Im so sorry, these are not very good.
Absolutely NOT!
Noo! Send the pics and ask for a refound, dont go back to her
They’re crooked and they’re lifting. Wtf 🤦🏻♀️ I’d be so mad. Go tell them to fix these!
Absolutely not 🤯
First pic: not so bad…..
Second and third pics: Those are ski jumps.
Thanks for the feedback so far! I’m pretty disappointed that they did not end up how I wanted but I’m grateful that my feelings were affirmed 😔 I’ll definitely be looking into other techs for any future sets. Thanks again for everyone’s help!
Only in my nightmares
Uh, not good ones, no.
I would accept this set from a tech who was practicing and honest about it ! But gworl you can’t be a professional nail tech when you’re making backward spoon shaped nails. Your pinky nail is about to take flight. Looks cute from the front tho! Love the color!
Noooooo.

No those are so bad whoever did them doesnt know what theyre doing
I saw the first pic and was like these aren’t so bad but then I swiped to the next picture and the next and….. Yikes 😬 they are bad and it looks like they got product on your skin. I’d complain and try and get your money back.
lord no

Oh no, I’m so sorry sugar.😔
the shaping is not correct or structurally sound. no apex, applied crookedly, and the shape was marred by overfiling the sides, which makes them look upturned. these are not good, and i would get them done over.
Even mine look better than this, practicing on myself with a stroke arm 😂
Noooo
No. Absolutely not.
The gasp I gusped when I swiped to the last picture 😱😱😱😱😱
I use to wonder how this even happens till i watched a video of a woman glueing the tips at an angle instead of down flat. I feel like it’s common because they’re trying to avoid glue on the skin?
No.
I see a lot of nails from salons look like this. That doesn’t mean it’s correct though. These are inverted from what they should look like 🙁
The first picture looks great. Other pictures not so good.
I feel like on here everyone says no, but every time I see people in the wild with acrylics over their naturally short nails, this is how they look. Not saying it’s ok!! Just saying this is so typical of like ALL salons.
