  1. For all her faults, she has been fairly outspoken about the horrors in Gaza on her insta stories. Especially when it comes to the ways it’s affecting children. ~rawmommykristi~

it might be performative, but the tides are changing. one day, everyone will have been against this, but today not everyone is. i’ll take any extra voices willing to speak out on the palestinian genocide at this moment.

  3. You can be wrong about many things without being wrong about everything.

She can stand on the right side about this, and still be anti-LGBTQ+

This feels performative because she hasn’t used her platform, that a lot of biggots still follow, to opmitize the voices of the people suffering in this genocide.

I’m not saying it is entirely performative, because not wanting babies and schools and hospitals bombed could hardly be performative in my opinion.

But she could do more 🤷‍♀️

I worry about people like her & candace Owen’s since they are pro Palestine due to typically anti-Semitic reasons. I wouldn’t be surprised if she said anything to the effect about Israel controlling America LOL.

  5. She has been posting consistently about Palestine for months. I am very left, very pro-Palestine and I have been impressed with her outspoken Palestinian advocacy for months.

I feel like people tend to take public figures wholesale. I don’t find this surprising, I think you can disagree with some of her takes and agree with some.

  7. There’s actually a lot of right wingers who are pro-Palestine, so this isn’t surprising to me. I still think she’s nuts though.

  8. Most younger MAGA people I know are pro Palestine because they hate Jews and think they are behind the worlds problems 🤷‍♀️

I’ve noticed a strong liberal narrative since 7th October that is basically ‘those poor children/children shouldn’t die’ but no more than that. Adults shouldn’t die either and people that fall short of saying Free Palestine or acknowledging this is a genocide and so on make me super suspicious.

I sort of know Kristi. We live in the same town, have met, have some mutuals, etc.

I truly don’t think Kristi herself is anti-LGBTQ and I don’t believe she is pro genocide. I think Kristi, like many of the people I live by, doesn’t understand that when you lie with dogs you get fleas, and that if all of your friends, family, and husband are MAGA, and you publicly support them, that inadvertently means you are condoning MAGA and their beliefs.

Kristi cares about kids. I can’t believe I’m basically defending her, bc I was very critical of her with the parade situation, but I don’t think this is performative. I just think Kristi is really ignorant in how she handles herself and controversy.

I am not defending Kristi, to be clear. If you come at me arguing why she is a bad person, I won’t try to convince you otherwise. I think she’s given everyone enough ammo to fairly feel that way.

I don’t think even she knows what she really believes to be honest. No back bone that one

Evangelicals have gone hard in support of Israel, so have the alt-right.

Performative or not, it’s good to see someone peel off the pustulant ball of religious hate to stop and think about the genocide.

Considering her history, I’d believe her stance is partially motivated by antisemitism. The same way that MAGAts who speak out against antisemitism are probably motivated by other things, including islamaphobia and Christian rapture stuff.

  14. She also made a video shitting on anyone who “celebrated” Charlie Kirk’s death. I think she’s performative. Kinda like Theo Von crying about Palestine while platforming Trump.

The comments of people who think she is somehow worthy of admiration or absolution bc of one particular stance makes a very dark suggestion about a lot of you.

Well Tucker Carlson is now pro-Palestine so is it really all that surprising? Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad he’s calling attention to it. But there is a difference between realizing genocide is always wrong and having to have a TV personality that aligns with your other beliefs tell you it’s wrong.
