i’ve been using the 10% azelaic acid for upwards of a year, as it’s really helped with my PIE (though the azelaic acid sometimes crystallizes around the bottle opening, it’s not a dealbreaker to me.) it did tingle a bit when i was new to it and made me very red, so i started out using it 3x a week and gradually got to using it every night. i have oily dehydrated skin, so i use moisturizer after it’s 100% absorbed into my skin.

the peeling serum is a new product, i actually got it as a freebie. i’ve never tried the ordinary product that i’ve heard is similar, but i like this one very much. i use it 2x a week, for almost a month now, and i like the results so far. it doesn’t sting for me; exfoliation is great.

both don’t really have a fragrance. both are also clear and lean slightly more watery than viscous. but the azelaic acid may feel a little sticky at first if not used to it.

though i wish they would sell bigger sizes sometimes, these 30ml bottles are very travel-friendly and don’t break since they’re plastic. the azelaic acid lasts me about 3 months with nightly use.

  1. I used the 10% Azelaic acid for about a year and then I moved to the 15% one and I gotta say the improvement is rather significant.

I wish I could use their azelaic acid but I couldn’t finish it because it was sticky and felt weird 😭
