Back in November I turned some eyeshadow I never wear into DIY polish, including this one that I named Nostalgia for its grunge 90s feel. I had to laugh when I looked at this month's PPU offerings, because it's so close to BKL TGIF!
I wasn't sure if I'd like it on the nail as much as I liked it in the bottle, but I'm obsessssssssssed. I'll definitely get more wear put of this as a polish than I did as an eyeshadow.
- Base coats: DIY peely base & Catrice Power Gel 2 in 1
- Polish: DIY Nostalgia
- Top coats: Seche Vite & Catrice Power Gel 2 in 1

Btw, it’s super easy to turn old eyeshadow into polish!! Just grab some suspension base (if you’re in the US and can get it 😬) or clear nail polish/top coat, crush the eyeshadow into powder, and combine the two. If you end up using regular clear polish (like me), just make sure you put mixing balls into the bottle because it’s going to separate and you’ll need to shake it up before using.
