I’ve been experimenting with a few overnight eye creams lately and noticed how much texture seems to matter more than whether something is labeled “overnight.” A lot of them feel too rich for the eye area and end up causing milia for me, so I’ve been gravitating toward lighter, serum-cream styles instead.

One product that caught my attention recently is the OOTD (Oxygen of the Day) Overnight Eye Cream. What I like about it so far is that it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave that heavy residue by morning. Ingredient-wise, it uses a mix of peptides (including acetyl hexapeptide-8), hydrolyzed collagen, and vitamin C (ascorbic acid), which seems like a solid combo on paper for smoothing fine lines and helping the eye area look a bit more awake.

That said, I’m still on the fence about how much ingredient percentages really matter for eye creams versus overall formulation and skin tolerance. I also don’t expect any product to fix genetic dark circles, but I do care about subtle smoothing and not looking exhausted when I wake up.

Curious to hear from others:

• What eye creams are you currently using for fine lines or dark circles?

• Do you look for specific actives or percentages (like peptide blends or vitamin C strength), or do you go more by texture and long-term comfort?

• Have you found a lightweight eye cream that performs well without causing milia?

Would love to hear what’s been working (or not working) for you lately, as I think I am still looking for that HG in eye creams 😊
