Added another layer of top coat today to make them last. Does it actually matter what nail polish you're using if you use a halfway decent base and top coat and prep well and moisturize and all that? There are so many cheap options out there. I know the brush for L.A colors is wonky, but that aside, what's the argument for high quality nail polishes, especially since I get usually bored of the color in a week or less anyway? What makes the difference for you?

I used Sally Hansen Diamond base and top coat and LA colors color craze gel in the shade wristband
I am jealous. LA colors usually only lasts a few hours on me before it chips! I love it for nail stamping though. Longevity is 90% dependent on polish quality for me, I do the same prep and use the same base and top coats but I’m very hard on my hands and I have naturally weak and thin nails which i assume is why drug store brands just don’t last. ILNP was life changing for me since it was the first time my lacquer had ever lasted longer than 3 days without chipping
