Hi everyone,
I just need an opinion if I'm being too picky. I got my nails done two days ago but just noticed that a few of them are at an upward angle. I've never had this happen before. I paid $100 for the set. Is this an acceptable reason to go in and ask for a redo on the nails that are messed up? Because most of them are fine, there are maybe four that need to be redone
Opinions are appreciated!

yes
I think the “good nail” needs to be corrected as well.. it still seems quite lifted.
I think so yes. Because even your ‘good nail’ is on a slope and quite thick
Nah girl ski slopes belong on the mountains, not ya fingers 😂
But for real, they did you dirty with these 💀
I don’t think any of them are good nails…
I’ve noticed this with allot of places with me. My pinky nails point up and if you just glue the tip on like usual my nail will point up like that. I usually have to ask them to point the tip down when they glue it on so this doesn’t happen. But honestly I’ve gone to a few really nice places and they know to check if they point up. I would ask for a redo even if it is an instance like mine.
Don’t go back, go to a new tech. Looks like the natural shape of your nail tilts up. Mine tilts down (like a claw), and I prefer my nails to grow straight. There is a way to correct both types with gel, but you need an experienced tech. Do some research about this process and you’ll be able to explain the issue before the appointment and speak up mid-process if you notice shortcuts being taken. For reference, I pay CAD$60 for my gel nails and she does fantastic work. If you pay USD$100 you deserve WAY better than this. It’s a skill issue.

Find a new tech sis. 💅
Get them all redone pls! If you draw a line along the bottom of the good nail you’ll see it’s still quite sloped. It’s 1000x better than the others but it should be redone too
