This came up on my fyp from thedianakraut regarding (what is speculated to be about) Nina Park and her quick rise to popularity with the masses in the beauty community. Mostly pointing how quick it came about and how the influencers are using practically the same script. It’s definitely a possibility but also aware that it could be organic as well. I think it’s an interesting discussion point in general. We are all aware of brand doing stuff like, but I can definitely see it people using this kind of promotion in the future.

I’ve noticed this too. It came out of nowhere – everyone is posting tutorials on her looks and work. Idk if she as an individual can pay people to do this but maybe her agency is trying this tactic.
could be a possibility. i was surprised seeing her mentioned everywhere after alexandra anele made videos about her. but like you said it could also be organic. it wouldn’t be the first time that someone talks about something/someone and all of a sudden it’s everywhere.
edit: i’ve also never heard this being done for a makeup artist so now i’m wondering how widespread that is for makeup artists since they’re usually more behind-the-scenes.
Of course this is happening. Duh.
It’s been a common tactic in the celebrity world for forever. This is Kris Jenner’s entire MO for her daughters lol
It is plausible but I think her sudden rise to popularity has more to do with the fact that her makeup style falls in line with the current makeup trends (natural-looking base, blurred lips). So it makes me believe that her sudden rise to popularity is organic 🤷♀️
As far as influencers following a script, the copy paste videos of whatever is trending/viral atm has always been a thing imo.
