Serum: Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum (propolis + niacinamide – for a bit of soothing and brightness)
Moisturizer:
-
Morning : Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Lotion (the one I’m reviewing)
-
Night(Before Sleep) : D'alba Piedmont Italian White Truffle Double Serum & Cream
<Product Info>
Scent: Completely unscented – no fragrance at all, which I really appreciate.
Texture: Lightweight lotion, slightly milky, spreads easily and absorbs quickly without any sticky residue.
Why I bought it: I kept seeing it recommended on Reddit for damaged barriers and dry, sensitive skin. I needed something simple and effective for winter that wouldn’t feel heavy but would actually hydrate.
<My experience>
Length of use: About 6 weeks daily (morning and night).
Results:
My skin feels noticeably less tight after cleansing.
Dry, flaky patches on my cheeks and around my nose have calmed down a lot – they used to turn white when I scratched, but that happens way less now.
Overall barrier feels stronger; redness from dryness has improved. No breakouts or irritation – it layers nicely under makeup too.
Pros:
Excellent hydration for a lotion texture – lasts all day in dry air. Truly fragrance-free and gentle.
Great price for the size (big pump bottle).
Non-greasy finish.
Cons:
In extremely cold/dry days, I still need to layer a thicker cream on top at night for extra protection.
Pump can dispense a little too much if you’re not careful.
Would I repurchase? Yes, definitely. I love Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Lotion. It’s become my everyday winter moisturizer and I already have a backup. For dry, easily irritated skin in a dry climate, it’s been reliable and fuss-free.
Has anyone else with similar dry/flaky concerns tried this lotion? How does it compare to the Concentrate Cream version for you?
