Are nail techs really this cheap? No offense to OP (and this is different bc I get extensions, I have NOOOOOOO health to have that much length to my nails 😭) but I’ve never had an extension break on me like that because I make sure to reinforce the nail with enough apex support and builder gel and I’ve had retention 8+ weeks. Especially if it went on the natural nail, it should’ve been reinforced imo.

I’ve taken a break from having my nails done for a few months and my natural nails were feeling so strong and healthy and looking so gorgeous and then about the length yours are now I had several break in this spot. It’s so upsetting!
I wish I knew how to stop it, maybe someone will come along with some real wisdom and help us!

It broke at the stress point, so there needed to be more apex built up along that line (imagine a line extending the crack all the way across; that’s where the apex should be) to prevent issues like this
