Are these good quality? I love them but a friend said they were trashy
Title. I love my nails and just got them done yesterday. I was really surprised that a friend of mine whose opinion I value said they were "ghetto" and trashy. Are my nails bad??

They look a bit bumpy and thick layered. Also the shape is not the same on each nail, some look coffin, others look squoval shaped. If you’re looking for something classic, you could go for a nice almond shaped nail with a thin French. The longer the nails & the thicker the French, the more “trashy” they can be looked at. Not my opinion, but a general one 🙂

Your friend is ghetto and trashy. Normal but picky critique would be your index and middle finger are rounder than the other fingers and they did a more modern French than classic but that’s just me being again, picky.

Your friend is rude. These nails aren’t ghetto or trashy. A French tip is usually seen as classic. They’re very cute on you!
That said, the quality is questionable. I think your pinkie and ring finger should be more tapered, to match the other three fingers. I also think they should have been buffed more so the top coat lays smoother.

Bad friend. Then again I got a really cute butter yellow French over the summer and my sister said “ew it looks like turmeric or curry nails” and I was like what are you on. Bad sister lol.

Ew, that’s trashy of your friend to say that. I think the nails are super cute and the nude base compliments your skin tone really well! The execution of could’ve been better though.
You should call your nail salon asap and request a different nail tech to fix them if the original nail tech can’t perform the job.
Here’s what I noticed:
– extension attachment mark and uneven apex
– inconsistent shape and length on all the fingers
– inconsistent design too
– the French tip looks the cleanest on the ring finger but it’s not a true coffin shape; it’s closer to a tapered square
– looks like there’s a bit of flooding on the pinky
