This is ILNP sugar plum, 2 coats cat eye effect with KB shimmer clearly on top (I know this one isn't the best for magnetics but it actually didn't screw it up) – no base coat.

I did a half mani trial run with this shade, I just think she pulls too purple on me. I ended up removing due to feeling like it clashed with my skintone a little more than I'm willing to ignore. I love her, though! 💖💜

Maybe I'll try again using a base color. I know someone did this with Tilted and it looked really cool.

I think it looks lovely on you but I had the same feelings about Sugar Plum. Plus the formula and thin brush make magnetizing a mess. And there’s black specks in it?! I have a similar skin tone and think maybe it needs more contrast or warmth.

I see what you mean about it pulling purple, but the slight bit of clashing does add to the cool grungy vibe imo. Like a ‘prugly’ on purpose look. But yeah, I have yellow undertones and have a hard time in this color range, and it gets annoying because I do love the shades!

I like sugar plum best as glass bead – the formula works superbly well. Not a huge fan of it as cat eye either – looks super purple on me, too

This is exactly how I felt about this polish when I tried it. Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it… didn’t really want to go to all that effort for that result. There is something about it that is not quite what I wanted it to be.

  5. Same! I was very excited after I bought it, but thought it was a bit underwhelming when actually wearing it
