New magnetic obsession thanks to this community!

Skittle mani with my BKL BF sale, purchased 4 magnetics to grow my magnetic collection from a total of 3 (Mooncat Clair de Lune, Galaxy Far Far Away, Weeping Willow) to 7!

Thumb – Bog Dweller

Pointer – It Happens (my favorite!)

Middle – Quiet Strength

Ring – Give Me My Agony

Pinky – Mooncat Clair de Lune

1 layer base coat Sally Hansen

2 layers magnetic polish, first layer thin and unmagnetized, second layer thick and magnetized with Etsy 5D spinner

1 layer top coat Sally Hansen red bottle magnetized

Love how glowy these polishes are and how they look in different lighting conditions. I'm a green girlie so I knew I would like Bog Dweller and It Happens, but I especially loved the depth of the glass bead effect and the hue of It Happens. Another surprise favorite was Give Me My Agony. Quiet Strength pulled more yellow on me but still pretty, and I might experiment with layering it with other colors. On my right hand I tried to magnetize only the top coat, but the glass bead effect was noticeably weaker. I think if I added the 30 lb horseshoe magnet to the 5D spinner the bead may have been stronger with this technique.
