I have bought…ahem…a lot of the fine particle magnetics. I don’t know if I bought all but I’ve got a lot here, all from BKL and Penelope Luz. Just wanted folks to see how the colors compare in case you’re interested in overpours or folks destashing polishes (I plan on destashing a few myself).
Anyway, I’ll pretend I was spending for science!

I am waiting for a delivery that includes I’m The Only One Who Will Love Your Sins and every post I see makes me more curious about how it will read in person. I know they describe it as a black polish with ultra fine red magnetic shimmer, but it reads more amber me in photos?!

For science, and as a scientist, what makes a magnetic a “fine particle magnetic” versus just a magnetic polish? Is there a size cut off? Thickness in the polish that impacts its movements?
