Zero shade to ILNP or their lovely flakies, just of all the flakies why did I, the pinkest human alive, buy this very cool toned lavender? I could not tell you. My guess is just that it’s a beautiful polish and I was not yet any good at predicting what will look good ON me.
It doesn’t look terrible but it doesn’t spark joy either. Shrug.
I’m going to try it again another day with a warmer jelly over or something but this may end up in the destash pile. And I will spend my ILNP rewards points on a dark based flakie lol.

Yes I really am that pink I didn’t do anything to the photo or my hand. Somebody made a rude comment once, like, please don’t we are all just the skin color we are.

Did you perhaps buy the collection set? That’s how I ended up with my bottle of this with the same results.
Colors are wild because I feel like this doesn’t look lavender on me at all lol. It looks like a pale slate gray / blue.

I really liked the ones from that collection. But then I realised they all had the same flakey. That flakey was also veeeery similar to their “Glory” effect coat. So I bought Glory instead and I plan to mix and match it with different jellies and creams. I am wearing it right now, actually! I always like the look of INLPs flakies, so im pleased Glory turned out nicely for me.
Maybe if you put this one over a darker cream? It might give it an undertone you like more.
In addition to your current plans, I’d also try it in three coats. Personally, I find ILNP shades best in three coats.

I don’t know what you see, but it looks great to me. But maybe I’m biased because I am also a pink person who loves cool blues and purples.

I have had that experience with ILNP too… decent but doesn’t spark joy. It does take some trial and error to figure out what you like best from their large collection.
I too am very fair and pink, I have learned if I don’t like it I bring it to work and someone else will love it.

I see November polish there honestly, also April. It would look great as the main color with pink French manicure style tips! You could go hot pink to shock or keep them cool and pale for understated. I really like it with your skin honestly!
i too am very pink due to blood pooling. i actually really like empire, which is very gold, so maybe i lean olive?
i also have had great luck with pink suede, very much a my skin but sparkly for my nails!
i really want to try zero degrees lol.
