Here's my unconventional Christmas manicure, inspired by medieval manuscript depictions of the Annunciation and Nativity. I love the rich, deep blue pigments and bright gold leaf used to illuminate these manuscripts (swipe for some examples). Clionadh's Sunken Treasure, which contains real gold leaf, was the perfect polish to represent these luxurious materials.

Polishes used:

1 x Essie First Base basecoat

2 x Clionadh Sunken Treasure (on index, middle, and pinkie)

2 x Cirque Hidden Hue (on ring and thumb)

1 x Sally Hansen Insta-Dri topcoat (red bottle)
