My own nail collection from when I worked as a nail technician (not clients’ nails, I have ethics)

Not all of these are real nails. In fact, collecting pieces that include actual nail is quite difficult, you have to let them grow for a long time.

They’re also not press-on nails, though, so you can tell the shapes aren’t the perfectly uniform kind you’d see with standard nail tips.

Most of these were made by applying a special curing agent before any other steps, which allows the gel portion to be peeled off on its own (it doesn’t damage the nail).

However, this photo does include some real nail material, so I’ve marked it as NSFW.
