I’m usually not into magnetic decals because the magnetic effect doesn’t dance around on the nail… however something about these pinstripes works for me! Especially when layered in a criss crossing pattern like this!
The red nails are a coat of ILNP Poison, with a coat of ILNP Moonlit on top.
The green nails are a coat of ILNP Venom, with a coat on ILNP Moonlit on top.
I rotated the magnet 90° after doing the base color, so that Moonlit would produce perpendicular lines. I also did a coat of water based top coat from Maniology after each coat of magnetic polish.
I used Maniology’s sticky base coat to get the decal to apply to my nail, and locked it all in with a final coat of inm Out the Door.
I found applying and cleaning up the decals challenging. Hopefully I get the hang of it in the future.
