((Marking as NSFW to hopefully avoid triggering people. As a ED girlie, I try my best not to speculate about weight but after the Cynthia/Ariana experience, when I see dramatic weight loss in a short time I get really concerned.))

Thumbnails are one month apart and could’ve explained by filters (August and September). Third pic is December 2025, fourth is June 2025. To be clear, she had a baby November 2024. But it looks like she lost a significant amount in 5 months in 2025.

Question: If an influencer is losing weight rapidly, do you think they should disclose any additional products? I know one of my first Reddit posts was when Snitchery said she lost weight through a promoted fat loss plan but at the time she had said she was hospitalized and wasn’t eating because of an illness. I am so sick of influencers using their bodies to make money off of us. I hope that’s not what Lins is doing, she’s one of my favorites.

Also if I’m dumb and this is filters, please tell me!! I don’t follow filters as much as possible because I get triggered and do posts like this at 8am 😭

I don’t know this creator, but I think 5 months is an acceptable timeline for this kind of weight loss? If she isn’t trying to make money off of it (selling weight loss plan and promoting a product), I don’t see an issue either tbh. I also don’t think she needs to disclose anything if she is a beauty/makeup creator.

  2. i mean, it’s not quite the same but i have OCD, in addition to some general (undiagnosed, naturally) gut pain i’ll get after eating, that’s affected my ability to eat like i used to and i’ve lost twenty pounds unintentionally. if she’s having health issues that affect her eating, even losing a small amount like twenty pounds will look drastic on her.

  3. If they are not trying to monetize their weight loss, and they don’t want to talk about it, then it’s actually none of our damn business 🤷

If they are trying to push weight loss products, then yeah obviously they shouldn’t lie about how they lost the weight. But if it’s just happening in the background and they never bring it up, we should respect that

  4. What do you mean by additional products?

I don’t think influencers have to let us know if they are on any sort of weightloss plan be it working out or medication, if its unrelated to their content. I don’t follow her but see her in my TikTok feed and have never seen her talk about anything but beauty products and show some outfits. It doesn’t look like filters to me. This post just seems like a roundabout way to speculate if she’s on a glp1.

She’s modeling that outfit so that we click and buy through her affiliate links. I don’t think people owe us anything when it comes to unexplained weight loss.

  6. I’m not familiar with her, I’m confused by your question. Is she currently promoting weight loss products at all? I don’t see what the problem is.

  7. This looks like totally normal weight loss to me and she still looks healthy. If she’s not promoting any programs or whatever and just happens to have lost weight then it’s really none of our business how she did it. The point of her acc appears to be makeup and fashion, not fitness or anything.

  8. I agree with others that if she’s not trying to shill some pill, diet, or shot, then who cares how she’s losing the weight and if she addresses it or not. She wasn’t super big to begin with, so I think even if she lost 20 lbs in those 5 months (which would be generally safe), it’ll be very noticeable.

  9. i actually feel bad that on every other post now she has people complimenting her on it tbh.. shes liked a comment before that called out how weird it is, especially when shes only offhandedly mentioned her intention to lose weight maybe once in a random ig story. shes not calling attention to it, shes not misrepresenting anything or trying to sell weight loss methods, so i wish people would just focus on the fashion/makeup content.
