left side without thinner – right side with thinner !! (both sides were magnetized the same way)
so i‘m new to the magnetic polish game and started off with the ones from catrice (and a rectangle magnet) and was fairly disappointed in the effect until i decided to add some thinner.
maybe y’all knew this already but it gives you more time to magnetize the particles until the polish starts drying. probably depends on the brand but it helped immensely with the catrice polishes ! 🥰

I would wager it’s less about dry time and more about the viscosity of the polish – thinner polish is easier for the magnetic particles to move in than thicker polish
