To me it looks a little like fireworks, which really matches the season. 🎆
I used four neodymium magnet balls held together in a diamond pattern (♢), with the "high" and "low" corner of the diamond being positioned in vertical alignment with the nail plate (so the high and low point of the diamond align with the tip and cuticle, whereas the left and right corner of the diamond were aligned with the lateral walls of the nail plate). my magnet balls were quite weak, so i had to hover them over the nail plate rather than resting the finger on the magnet while it's below the finger. ymmv.
shown are three coats of bkl – resurrection, under warm indoor light, on a swatch stick because my hands are currently soaking up jojoba oil in a pair of nitril gloves.

okay i loveee this but i need a photo of the magnet setup; i can’t picture it in my head at all lol
That pattern is definitely perfect for New Year’s! Also, I don’t know how I missed this release in October but I just went and looked on the website and saw it archived. I guess I’ll have to wait and hope for overpours.
