My twelfth empties review 🙂 Some of the items me and my partner both use.
Most of the products are AB products. This is a big one, I was trying to use up things that were expiring soon and I went on a trip so I also have a alot of samples in here that I brought with me which are one-time use and is very hard to know if it works for you or not but I have reviewed them below regardless as there are a couple I really liked. I only buy from cruelty-free brands but sometimes I get gifts from friends and family that are not cruelty-free. If anyone wants more reviews or has questions let me know 🙂
The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Mild Cleansing Water – Got as a gift from my mom. Took me a long time to go through as I prefer oil or balm cleansers as my first step. This was ok, did not seem to clean as well as other Micellar waters I have used, so I ended up using it in the morning (which I normally just use water to wash my face), and it was ok as well. Did not dry my skin out and had a very subtle rice smell, I did not notice added fragrance. It was slightly hydrating and made my skin a little brighter. I personally WNP but if you are looking for a micellar water to double cleanse and do not wear makeup, this is nice for dryer skin. Took 8 months using a few times a week to use up.
Acne Free Oil Free Acne Cleanser – I use this from time to time on my face but normally I use this on my underarms after I shave. It’s very gentle, only 2.5% benzoyl peroxide so great for people starting with it. Typical acne face wash smell. No complaints. Took 4 months using a few times a week to use up.
THE LAB by blanc doux Green Flavonoid Solution – A lttle over a year ago I got the 2.0 Mask for free and I fell in LOVE with it. But here lies the “one time use” issue as its not enough to fully determine if it works for you, I have never used a mask that brightened my skin as well as that, it was also so relaxing as it smelled slightly like chamomile. So when I was unable to find my HG toner I decided to pick this up on iHerb as it was only $6. I first loved it, brightened my skin so well and smells nice, but after using for a few days my skin felt a little dehydrated. Nothing else in my routine changed except this. I still used it for a little over a week but it kept happening as well as I broke out in tiny red bumps, I started realizing my barrier was compromised so I changed my toner and the dehydration stopped. Took awhile for the red bumps to clear but yeah, so unfortunate 🙁 I think theres a reason you can find their stuff super cheap now. I used the rest on my legs lol, also it’s very watery so this gets used up fast. So WNRP. Took 3 weeks to use up using randomly. If you do like it and use it once a day on your face I will say it would take 3 months to use up.
eczema honey Antioxadent Body Oil – Got as a gift. Smells so nice but that’s all I really noticed. I used it ontop of my lotion but felt like it was an unnecessary step as I did not feel more moisturized or anything, but I did not break me out luckily. I just think body oils are not for me. Smells so yummy tho, just like honey. Also if you can tell the pump broke halfway through lol. WNP. Took 4 months using once a day to use up.
