Could you guys give me some advices on making press-on nails? This is my first tiny press-on nail set for my birthday girl

This time I tried to make a press-on nail set and it took me 3 hours. I need more advices and tips on how to make it perfectly and efficiently. When sticking them on natural nails they still look "fake" and unnatural to me, how to fix it? Thank you so much.
