Hi friends! As my nails have grown out, I have learned I know next to nothing when it comes to shaping— anyone have tips for improving my nail shape?
I’ve always shaped them into a rounded almond. I file them every time I paint which is at least once a week, if not twice. Naked nails in the last pic for reference!

You kind of have a similar nail shape to me except a little longer. I like a roundish almond because it seems the most stable shape to preserve any length on me. I actually think your currently shape suits you really well.
I like to keep a nail file at my desk. Frequent filing like you are doing seems better for my nails than trying to file a bunch all at once. I actually like to file before I take my polish off because I think it gives the nails a little more support when I am shaving them down and the color contrast to my skin color helps me see what I am doing better.
