I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of this, but I've wanted to reserve some of my painting time for skittle manis. I started out doing skittles because, if you know me it will be no surprise to you that I couldn't pick just one color or polish…so why not all!? Time for "Sunday Skittles"!
I'm seeing Wicked For Good today so I HAD do an Oz themed skittle. I wanted to focus on the OG 4 characters…so finding a polish or color that represented them but also made a good skittle was quite a tricky thing! Dorothy was obvious, go with a blue from her iconic gingham. The Tin Man was another one I immediately knew, this perfect matte textured silver is a Tin Man In a bottle. I wanted gold for the Lion, and this flakie is literally named Nimean Lion, so that was set. Then came the scarecrow…I wanted to lean into the olive of his outfit, because gold was covered by the lion…but boy, I went through probably 15 different options and really loved what I ended up on, after many opinions from some good nail friends. Now it's time to be completely broken by this movie 😭😭😭
