I got into painting my nails regularly for the first time earlier this year. For the past several months I’ve been painting my nana’s nails every week or two when I go visit!
She’s 93 and never painted her nails before because she worked on a farm as a kid and then raised 5 children. I started with very simple, “ladylike” colors because she was scared at first but now she lets me do whatever I want lol. I had an idea in mind for late autumn, but I brought my whole collection over with me today to show her since I recently bought some storage containers. She surprised me and picked this out for herself! I think she has pretty good taste!

My babcia let me paint her nails red a few months before she passed away. that memory is so fond and close to my heart, thanks for bringing it up again!
