First velvet mani ever, I decided to go all in with some 3D printed velvet nail magnet tools. Definitely did the trick and I’m now obsessed! Products in the comments.
-two coats Qtica Natural Nail Growth Stimulator as base coat (first time trying, not sure what I think yet)
-two coats Mooncat Drown My Demons lacquer, each magnetized.
– one coat INM Out the Door QDTC, magnetized (my fave!)
Nail magnets are from 5DPrintFactory on Etsy in color Mint. I got a 5 pack but the magnets are so strong I can only use two at a time without them magnetizing to each other, so more than two don’t work well with my fingers that are drastically different lengths. The product photos are a bit misleading in that sense, but I’m going to try cutting grooves in a wood board to try to keep the 4 fingers placed in the right spot. Generally speaking I’d recommend only buying one or two instead of the 5 pack!
