Broken Pixel Polish – Garden State of Mind

Hey! I'm Michelle, maker/owner of Broken Pixel Polish.

We are releasing a New Jersey inspired quad set on November 28th – Garden State of Mind. All polishes are being added to our permanent catalog.

20 Regular, Cash: Jersey folks don’t pump gas. Next time you find yourself in New Jersey, remember you don’t need to leave your car to fill your tank. If you have some cash, remember the phrase, “20 regular, cash” for your refill.

Inspired by gas station and garage oil puddles, this is a black-based maroon-orange-gold-green multichrome polish.

Devil of the Pines: New Jersey folklore tells of a cryptid being that calls the Pine Barrens its home. The Jersey devil has the head of a horse with two horns like the devil, a forked tail, and leathery wings standing upright on cloven hooves.

This is a pure lava-red multichrome polish with shifts of orange and gold, a hint of green at the most extreme angles, and black-red multichrome microflakes.

G.T.L.: While this polish’s namesake was inspired by a certain reality TV show, the polish itself was inspired by the beach town where the show took place. It’s loud, obnoxious, and bright with a UV reactive neon orange base, yellow-blue-green shifting shimmer, and shifting pastel blue-purple-green flakes.

Jersey Tomato: This polish is a vine ripened tomato red jelly, picked fresh from the garden.

As typical with jelly polishes, this will not reach full opacity. Wear a blurring base at your discretion.
