Hii! My name is Bhumika and I'm the owner and founder of By Bhumika Inc, a natural skin, hair (and now nail care) brand. This is a Canadian company that's mainly based in my ancestral knowledge from my Indian background. I want to introduce my new Cuticle Balm and my business, from one lacquerista to another.
For the past three years I've been using this Cuticle Balm that I created, and I'm finally able to share it with you all. It's 3 simple ingredients: Jojoba Oil, Shea butter, and Beeswax. I prefer a more solid use of jojoba oil because I feel like it adheres better to my skin, and so after many formulations, I give you my holy grail. My entire website is 20% off right now as I introduce this product – this subreddit has given me so many joys (and so much dopamine lol!), and I want to give the same joys back to y'all :).
I work with small farms and businesses whenever possible because I believe in a deep sense of community. Everything is political, and I want to make sure my choices reflect my beliefs in the world. For example, the beeswax in this product is from a small Hawaiian Apiary, all of the hemp oil we use is from a farm right here in Ontario, and all of the olive oil we use at By Bhumika is from Palestine. I'm personally very anti-FOMO so my store will be 20% til the end of the year – don't feel obligated to buy anything if you don't need it right now 🙂
