Finally busted open my bottle of BKL “I Choose the Bear” (2 coats)! Had time to play with magnetizing with the lab stirrer to show off the nuance on finger upside down to be closer to the magnet (pinky and ring) versus finger on top of the lab stirrer (middle and pointer). Love both looks but it’s nice to see the difference side by side.

  1. Full product list:

    * Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails
    * Bee’s Knees Lacquer I Choose the Bear (2 coats)
    * Glisten and Glow Topcoat

    Magnet method: “Glass Bead”

    * Ring and Pinky–finger nail as close to lab stirrer for 1-2 minutes each coat
    * Middle and Pointer–finger on top of lab stirrer for 1-2 minutes each coat

  2. Ohhh… I’ve been doing my nails upside down because I wanted to encourage the nail polish to not flood the cuticles, but I prefer the bead style of right side up :O This explains a lot for some of my nails, thank you for posting this!
