The other day there was a post about polish shrinkage after QDTC. I never had that issue, I cap my tips so I thought that might be why. Well today I did my nails again and did not cap my nails and used QDTC and sure enough the polish shrank. Just wanted to share that caping tips solves the problem.

Unfortunately capping tips does not solve the problem for me. Mooncat’s QDTC is the only one that doesn’t shrink on me. I’ve tried so many. I’ll keep trying but I’m pretty stuck so far.
I cap my tips and I recently did a shrinkage experiment and the only one that didn’t shrink was Cuticula limitless. The others shrank a little or terribly:
Kbshimmer clearly on top and Mooncat speed demon were the worst offenders
Essie gel couture was pretty good,
and Sassy Sauce plump n juicy was runner up
