I have been trial and erroring chrome isolation. I’ve referenced many YouTube videos but I cannot get clean lines with chrome isolation no matter what I do. What am I doing wrong?
Heart (left) – cured matte top coat for 3 min, black gel cured 15 sec, buffed chrome onto nail, used fluffy brush to get rid of excess, top coat
Circle (middle) – cured matte top coat 3+ min, nail wiped with isopropyl alcohol, black gel cured 15 sec, buffed chrome onto nail, used fluffy brush, top coat
Square (right) – cured matte top coat 3+ min, nail wiped with isopropyl alcohol, black gel cured for 12 sec, patted chrome onto nail, used fluffy brush, top coat

Try lightly buffing the nail after you cure the matte top coat.
The gaoy matte top coat is my fav! Maybe try that one? I dont wipe with alcohol before applying anything and I do cure the black for 30 seconds , hope this helps
