While these may look like Louboutin nails… that's not what they're based on.

I think I will keep on painting my nails like this with contrasting colors! I kinda like how they make my nails look like fake nails in person if you don't look close enough. (And I didn't miss a spot! they're just shiny, hence, the white sheen on the edges)

I was skeptical at first because i know it will be messy but turns out it's very easy to clean up! I just had to apply jojoba oil on my fingers after the polish dried and the excess polish on my skin came off easily.

I painted underneath my nails first then waited for it to dry. Then base coat + 2 coats of color without capping. But I capped the top coat.

Base coat: OPI Nature Strong
Polish: OPI Black Onyx + Sally Hansen Cinna Snap
Top Coat: Essie Gel Couture

  1. I get this. It’s nice to look at them this way! Especially if you’ve been growing your nails, it’s a cute view 💅

  2. Looks great! I like the colors you chose. I love painting under my nails! Even if it’s not a contrast color, I just think it looks better than my plain nail. I also tell myself that basecoat under the nails is good for them.
