Does it rub anyone else the wrong way that O&J had to use a crappy AI rendition of their products for an ad? Why don’t they have any good marketing photos of these?
I used to want to try their system out but I feel like every time I see an ad of theirs, it’s just not good and it makes me doubt I can actually trust their systems.

All companies use ai some have been doing it longer than others. It’s more cost effective but to the product I have used their items not gel ones and like them. I love their top coat.
I don’t like this because at first I was like “what ai?” And then I zoomed and saw the gibberish printed on the caps! So sloppy.
I don’t understand how difficult it is to take pictures of your actual product. Does it cost money? Yeah, but that’s what your advertising budget is for. I’m so tired of companies thinking their customer base is stupid.
Also, I happen to like this brand too. I have lots of Olive and June products. Very disappointing.
Ugh, disappointing. I tried this brand but didn’t love it. (I do love their remover jar & top coat).
There are so many better brands for better prices that don’t use ai (I love Cracked, LynB, Emily de Molly, KB Shimmer, Dam, Polished for Days, & ILNP). Join the destash group to try some of these out!
As a graphic designer who made these types of ads, AI was ABSOLUTELY not necessary. Even if they did not have this specific photo, they very very easily could have mocked it up as long as they had shots of the product by itself. Every cosmetics company I’ve ever worked with, at the very least, had plenty of images of the product by itself, ready to be placed into a scene.
