Hello! I’m loving this hidden design cat eye look GlitchPopNails posted and want to recreate it with a three color gradient pastel as the base layer. I checked their comments and other posts and have come back wanting.

How would you do it? Magnetized needle to create free spaces before curing? Liner brush with remover on it to do the same before curing? Cure the magnetized layer and try to match the colors as much as possible over the magnetized layer (would probably have to give up on hopes of the sun for this one)?

  1. ! Not a nail tech, take any advice with a small hill of salt !

Opaque colour, followed by magnetic gel, followed by either hand-painting the desired design or using a stamping gel and plate of your choice. For added depth I’d add a layer of clear gel between the magnetic gel and the design, as it adds a fun shadow imo.
I really wanna try something similar for my next set, because this is downright gorgeous.

If I was going to try this, I would do a white base, design in black then pink cat eye on the top. Would need to actually get my kit out and test it though.
