I did my first set using the horseshoe magnet and it’s absolutely gorgeous BUT I did find it difficult to paint my nails while in the magnet. Specifically getting the edges. So my question is… do you paint and then stick your finger in the magnet? Or do you all paint while in the magnet?

I will personally paint and then put my finger on the magnet.
I have that color on too! I was lazy and did 2 coats only. I paint then stick in magnet. Otherwise I’ve tried the other way and got nailpolish over the magnet
I paint it and then put my finger in the magnet. I feel like painting in the magnet is only needed for swatch videos 😝
Every time I’ve tried to paint in the magnet it’s been uncomfortable to position and turns out messy. I don’t know how the nail influencers do it. I paint then place and it works out much better.
I paint inside the magnet and I turn my finger to get the edges. I suppose this technique depends upon the width of your finger and the width of your horseshoe.
